Approaching a room with the use of a single pattern can be very interesting.  In fact, is it a traditional European technique.  I typically do not propose this look on my Pacific Northwest projects as I find it looks best in the older East Coast and Southern Style homes.  However, I appreciate it.

A beautiful print that can translate from wallpaper to fabric enveloping the space creates that feeling of the perfect cocoon. I particularly like how the pattern on different backgrounds and mediums make for slight variations in the pattern’s color and texture.

Below are a few nice examples of how one can use a single pattern effectively in either a public or private area in your home.
