Art is subjective just as its placement is subjective.  I am intrigued by art and how its interpretation changes as its setting changes.

Influences such as the architecture, lighting as well as the wall color and furnishings can manipulate the perception and interpretation of even the most distinctive piece of art.

Have you ever seen the same art exhibit in two different galleries or museums?  Try it.  You will see what I am talking about.

When considering the “stage” for a new piece of art in your home, don’t be surprised to find the piece might appear completely different to you.  Not to worry.  Chances are, if you liked it in the gallery you will like it in your home!
