I have clients ask me all the time about framing their family photos that they want to hang together all in one space. Many times I will accompany a client with their millions of photos to the frame shop, but if they want to tackle this project on their own, I offer up this one rule of thumb. Color consistency. Freeze any and all other ideas!
Choose frames with a similar if not the same profile and color or at a minimum, the same matte color. This will ensure the individual photos become a collection.
